1CD SB EX & EX+

LED ZEPPELIN I TOUR

Teen Club (Afternoon show), Gladsaxe/Egegaard Skole, Denmark &
                          Vigorelli Velodromo, Milano (Milan), Italy
3-15-69 & 7-5-71  Short Cuts

1CD AD VG & VG-

The 3-15-69 show is a high VG. The 7-5-71 show was stopped due to rioting. This after only 3 songs, of which only 2 are complete. These are tracks 6-9 and I rate them AD VG-. If you would care to read about this, please click
HERE.

      Fillmore West, San Francisco, California
4-27-69                The Jimi Page Experience

2CD SB/EX- & AD/VG+

IMHO, I think the job of mixing the 2 sources was truly brilliant!!! The AD parts I rate VG+, and the SB parts I rate EX-. Here is information about this release that is on the rear insert:    ["Source Info" This full show was constructed from 2 sources. Soundboard source = master reel>DAT>CDR. Audience source = 2nd gencassette>DAT>CDR]. The entire soundboard source was used, merging in the missing sections with the AUD source".

LED ZEPPELIN II TOUR

9-9-70     Blueberry Hill

2CD X AD VG+

LED ZEPPELIN III TOUR

Ulster Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland & National Boxing Stadium, Dublin, Ireland
3-5 & 6-71  Black Velvet

4CD AD VG- & VG

What can I say except that it's a boot. The 3-5-71 show I rate VG- because it was recorded too high. The 3-6-71 show I rate VG. There is some phasing, the microphones get blocked and get messed with. Plus in a few spots the music cuts out very briefly. CD1, track 6 at 6:48 a whistle sound occurs until 8:45, then starts again at 8:55 to 9:26 which is the end of the song and continues into track 7 at 00:02. Then again on track 7 from 1:04 to 1:23. CD3 has alot of sound and probable source changes. These shows are from the first two nights of the tour.

Teen Club (Afternoon show), Gladsaxe/Egegaard Skole, Denmark &

3-15-69 & 7-5-71  Short Cuts

      Hampton Roads Coliseum, Hampton, Virginia
9-9-71  Inspired

2CD SB VG+

This show has at least one pre-release track. This one is "Going For California". The first 2 minutes or so of this show is missing. The drum solo is cut off early.

      Kosei Nenkin Hall, Osaka, Japan
9-29-71                       Live In Japan 1971   (Part 5 of 5)

3CD SB, CD1/EX-, CD2/EX & CD3/VG+

There are live pre-releases of "Black Dog" (There are like 4 spots where the song is missing small parts), "Stairway To Heaven" and "Going To California". CD3 has Robert's vocals at a lower volume. Thus the lower rating. John Bonham dissapears for awhile and can't be found, so Robert & Jimmy end up doing "Tangerine" unplugged. My copy of this show is from the Silver Pressed Box Set by Last Stand Disc. This show is from the final night of the tour.

LED ZEPPELIN IV / ZOFO / UNNAMED TOUR

      The Forum, Inglewood, California
6-25-72    Burn That Candle

3CD AD VG+

This title came about because the band apparently was thinking of calling their next album the same thing. There is also a live pre-final production version of "Over The Hills And Far Away" in which the band has yet to figure out what they are going to do at the end.

6-25-72              Burn That Candle - Remastered

3CD NI AD EX-

This show just barely gets EX-.

HOUSES OF THE HOLY TOUR

1CD SB EX-

5-13-73 Mobile Dick (Live In Mobile 1973 Part Two)

1CD SB EX-

"Upwardly Mobile (Live In Mobile 1973 Part One)" just barely gets EX-.

5-26-73      Salt Lake City 1973

2CD SB EX

??-??-73 Control Monitor Mixes

1CD SB EX

For "Salt Lake City 1973", the beginning of the show starts late. The last track of the show and the Encore have been intentionally left off. This because this is a "Watch Tower" release, and for some reason they do it like that. "Control Monitor Mixes" is a bonus CD when purchased as a Silver Pressed. I will break up the set if you desire I do that.

Chicago Stadium, Chicago, Illinois *OR* Minneapolis, Minnesota
7-6 or 7-73 or ??-??-75  Rockin' In Chicago

1CD SB EX

The artwork and some say this is a soundcheck from Chicago in 1973, and others claim it to be from Minneapolis in 1975. Everything is nice and bright, but there is tolerable tape hiss throughout.

      Seattle Center Coliseum, Seattle, Washington
7-17-73        V 1/2   Remastered

3CD NI AD VG+

The first couple of minutes are a little rough and the volume is low until track 2. CD1, track 8 at the very end has the quality change. It has less bass, but it is clearer. Some of the drum solo is missing with a 5 second gap where the part is missing. It drops out fast, then fades back in. The last track on CD3 has tape munch for a couple of minutes. If it weren't for Jimmy's leads being low in the mix, it would get an EX- rating.

PHYSICAL GRAFFITI TOUR

Madison Square Garden, New York/Manhattan, New York
2-12-75  MSG 1975

3CD AD EX

This show has 2 pre-release songs. These versions and the studio versions sound very close to the same. They are "Kashmir" and "Trampled Under Foot" from "Physical Graffiti". CD1, track 2 until track 4 at the 5 minute mark, the volume out the right side changes levels alot.

      Earl's Court, London, England
5-24-75      Odesseus Earl's Court 75

4CD SB EX

Sadly track 3 on CD2 has a little over a 12 second blank spot at the end. Since I got this show from Silvers and have gotten 2 or 3 more copies made from them, this gap does exist on the Silvers. Total time for this show is 3 hours 45 minutes. This is a long one folks. ;^))

PRESENCE TOUR

      Richfield Coliseum, Richfield, Ohio
4-27-77      Destroyer Re-Mastered

2CD SB EX

This show has bonus track called "Since I've Been Loving You" from 9-24-74 Budokan, Tokyo, Japan that I rate AD VG, but approaching VG+.

      The Forum, Inglewood, California
6-21-77     Listen To This Eddie

3CD AD EX

CD3, track 3, the source tape changes, but the quality rating remains the same.

      Kingdome, Seattle, Washington
7-17-77                        Kingdom Come

3CD SB (Channels ~ Left = VG & Right = EX-

The first 30 seconds of CD1 is rough due to the volume being adjusted. CD1 has a clipping crackling noise like it was taken from an LP at some point, in the left channel. Same CD, the left channel drops out from 00:30 - 1:00 on track 4. CD2, track 4 is cut short. The quality of "Kashmir" changes to Left VG+ barely, and right EX. CD3 has volume changes.

7-17-77      Year Of The Dragon

4CD SB EX-

There is tape hiss, but this version is 40 seconds shy of being 1 hour longer, and is the better of the two.

IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR TOUR

      Knebworth, England
8-11-79         Final Cut Knebworth 1979

3CD SB EX

      Zurich, Switzerland
6-29-80      Complete Switzer-Show

2CD SB EX

      Eissporthalle, Berlin, Germany
7-7-80  Final Touch

1CD SB EX-

7-7-80 Last Stand

1CD SB EX-

This is the Condor version of this date, which also happens to be the last show of the tour. "Final Touch" is the first part of the show, and "Last Stand" is the second part. CD1, track 8, "Stairway To Heaven", and 9, "Heartbreaker", were recorded in Rotterdam, Holland on ??-??-?? and I rate them SB EX-. CD1 has a couple of spots where there are milisecond gaps during the songs. CD2 has several of these gaps and some up to 2 seconds long during track 5, between approximately 10:00 and 11:30. As of 4-11-04 I have a good copy of CD2 on the way. As of 6-1-04 I have what should be a good copy of CD2, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

7-7-80  Heineken

2CD SB EX-

This show nearly gets an EX, and is the best version of this date. This is the Tarantura version. This date is from the last night of the tour, and sadly, thier being Led Zeppelin. ;^(((
